About Mark Oshiro

Mark Oshiro is the Hugo-nominated writer of the online Mark Does Stuff universe (MarkReads.net and MarkWatches.net), where he analyzes book and television series unspoiled, largely in the SF/F genres. He was the nonfiction editor of Queers Destroy Science Fiction! and will be the co-editor of Speculative Fiction 2015. His first novel, a YA sci-fi book set in a pre-dystopian world, is nearly done, and his life goal is to pet every dog in the world.

About the venue

The Clubhouse on Queen Anne is the best small Seattle venue for dinners, and parties of 20-120 people. Here, in this historic venue, Seattle’s history is reflected by brick and mahogany walls, and a rustic bar from the Gold Rush era, all within one of the original buildings built on Queen Anne Hill. This Seattle venue, which has served as a Masonic Lodge since 1925, has beauty and a history that adds an ambiance to compliment any event, whether it be birthday or anniversary parties, weddings, company events, performances or symposiums. This unique Seattle venue serves as a perfect party venue, Seattle pioneer style.
